Marianne Piek-den Hartog

I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute at the Surgical Department for 17 years. I started working in the screening process of high-risk breast cancer patients. Over the years I started taking on tasks at the rapid diagnostics clinic for breast cancer and took on the follow-up after breast cancer treatment.

For a long time I worked as a general practitioner in Amsterdam, but currently, focus fully on my work at the hospital. I primarily dedicate myself to the guidance of patients starting with their first appointment at the hospital, which can be a stressful and uncertain time. The Netherlands Cancer Institute is a great place to work.
