Anna-Marie Helbig

In 2014 I graduated as a physiotherapist, my first years of work experience were gained at the UMC in Groningen. At the beginning of 2019 I moved to North Holland, since then I have been working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. In 2022 I completed the 3-year master's degree in pelvic physiotherapy.

I work in intensive care, surgical and internal nursing departments. In addition, as a pelvic physiotherapist I treat patients with a request for help in the field of urination, defecation and/or sexual function.

For me, patient care, teamwork and personal attention are central. I get a lot of satisfaction from guiding patients before and/or after major surgery or in times of acute illness.
