Eva Schaake
In 2009, I started my PhD research and my training as a medical specialist at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I now work with enthusiasm and passion as a radiation oncologist and I treat people with urological and gynecological tumors.
I think it is important to guide patients with time and attention in a difficult and uncertain period. Calmly explaining and coming to appropriate decisions together lays the foundation for good treatment. We work very closely together in patient care and research to be able to provide the best treatment for every patient and to continuously improve it.
Meet Eva Schaake:
"I get satisfaction from contact with people. The medical and technical aspects are a big part of being able to help people properly. But the contact with patients is what I work for."
