X-ray

What is an x-ray?

During an x-ray diagnostic procedure, we take pictures of the inside of your body using x-radiation. We can produce images of your lungs or your bones with this technique. Your radiologist will analyze these images and describe any potential abnormalities to your practicing physician. You may need to undergo additional diagnostic testing such as a CT scan, PET scan, or MRI scan

Duration

5 minutes

After the procedure

If no abnormalities were found, you can go home directly after the procedure.

Results

Your physician will discuss the results with you during your next consultation.
